Cancellation & Refund Policy

Important care notice

This policy covers scheduling and payment administration only. It is not medical advice or emergency care. Do not use cancellation requests, email, or website forms for urgent symptoms. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Overview

We understand that plans change. This policy explains how to cancel, reschedule, or request help with a payment for appointments with Homegrown PT, serving clients in Salado, Texas.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

  • Use the appointment management link in your Healthie confirmation email when available.
  • Use the secure Healthie portal for appointment-related messages that include health details.
  • For general administrative help, email hgphysicaltherapy@gmail.com.

Notice and Missed Appointments

Please provide as much notice as possible when you need to cancel or reschedule, preferably at least 24 hours before the appointment. Appointment-specific cancellation terms, payment terms, or fees, if any, will be shown in Healthie or communicated by Homegrown PT before booking or payment.

Refunds

  • Refunds for prepaid appointments are reviewed based on appointment status, timing, and any terms disclosed at booking.
  • If Homegrown PT cancels an appointment and you prepaid, you may reschedule or request a refund of the prepaid amount.
  • Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method when possible.
  • Third-party payment processors or Healthie may have additional processing times or terms.

Running Late

If you are running late, please contact us as soon as you can. We will try to accommodate you within the scheduled appointment time, but a significant delay may require rescheduling.

Extenuating Circumstances

We understand that unexpected events happen. If illness, emergency, technical issues, or circumstances outside your control affect your appointment, contact us promptly so we can review available options.

Privacy-Safe Communication

Please avoid sending detailed medical information through general email or website forms. Use the secure Healthie portal for sensitive health information related to your care. Do not use these channels for emergencies.
